Going into hospital to have your baby is a stressful time for expectant parents. What do you pack? 83% pack a smart phone making it the most common hospital bag item, followed by baby clothes (77%) and a phone charger (70%). Nursing bras were the most commonly forgotten item.
But obviously, it’s not just the bag…having the baby itself is pretty stressful. 1 in 5 parents rated themselves as nervous before giving birth but half rated their nurses as very effective at easing their nerves. In fact, the positive impact of nurses goes beyond giving birth. 65% claimed they learned how to diaper their baby from a nurse.
